As a native New Yorker, I am constantly searching for quiet areas in such a busy city. When I do find one, I spare no time in capturing that moment in either drawing or painting.
All my works are to me, a visual diary, a way of remembering a specific place or person, and how that moment made me feel. When I look back at my work, I can remember exactly how I felt when I painted it, what the weather was like, as well as the conversations I had with people passing by.
Art is, after all, a way of telling a story. My story speaks through my work.
